La Liga transfer window January 2022 update- Barcelona are trying to save their season

So far, not too many transfers in La Liga during this current transfer window.
Rather it is because the financial state of the clubs or just because of the poor selection of catch bargains, there has been no more then 6 (leaving out the loans) signings two weeks into the transfer window.

Barca needs extra depth in the forward department:

The only real action is happening in the Blaugrana.
Xavi knows that for this season not to end up as a complete disaster in Barcelona FC standards, the team has to finish in the top four positions.

In 20 matches this season, the Catalans scored 31 goals, an average of 1.55 goals per game, with Memphis Depay 8 in total. If we compare it to Benzema, he scored 20 goals only in La Liga.
Add to that the fact that both Depay and Dembele are not looking to stay in the club in the end of the season, Xavi knew he had to take action.

Ferran Torres has moved from Man City for £46.3M and will give that extra depth that the till desperately needs.

Fabio Blanco joined the club from Frankfurt in an £840k deal.

Jesús Corona joins Sevilla

Los Nervionenses are dealing with a wave of injuries.

Both Suso and Lamela are recovering from injuries and Julen Lopetegui needs to find solutions to put on a team.
The Mexican winger who’s evaluated value is £19.80m, has moved to Sevilla from Porto FC for £2.70m.

The winger has 286 appearances playing for Porto FC, scored 31 goals and added 69 assists.
This season he add 1 assist and no scoring which can explain the convenient price paid for him.
